Cancellation Policy

The Piano Keys - Terms and Conditions Welcome to The Piano Keys! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for piano lessons provided by The Piano Keys. By enrolling in lessons, you agree to the following terms: 1. Payment Terms • Monthly Payments: All lessons must be paid for on a monthly basis. Payments are due on the first lesson of each month. • Payment Methods: We accept payments via cash, credit/debit (transaction fee for credit cards), check, or Apple Pay Cash. • Late Payments: A late fee of $50 will be applied if payment is not received within 7 days after the due date. Lessons will not continue until payment is made in full. 2. Cancellation Policy • Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will still require full payment. This is to ensure the instructor's time is respected and to cover the slot that could have been offered to another student. • Emergency Cancellations: In the case of a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential rescheduling. We may offer one emergency cancellation per quarter without charge at our discretion. 3. Rescheduling Policy • Advance Notice: Rescheduling of lessons must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred time, but it is subject to availability. • Missed Lessons: Missed lessons without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled. 4. Lesson Structure • Lesson Duration: Lessons are typically 30 or 45 minutes long. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full benefit of the lesson. • Materials: Students are responsible for purchasing their own music books and any other required materials. The instructor will provide guidance on what is needed. 5. Student Responsibilities • Practice: Regular practice is essential for progress. Students are expected to practice regularly between lessons to achieve the best results. • Preparation: Students should come prepared with any assignments completed and bring all necessary materials to each lesson.   6. Instructor Availability • Holidays and Breaks: The Piano Keys will observe certain holidays and breaks throughout the year. Notice will be provided in advance, and adjustments to the schedule will be made accordingly. • Instructor Illness: In the event of instructor illness, lessons will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience or refunded if a suitable time cannot be arranged. 7. Termination of Lessons • Discontinuation by Student
